Music from Heaven by Chris Kellerman

When Chris Kellerman began composing a few years ago, I was awed by the ability of his songs to mesmerize me.  No matter how stressed or busy I was at the moment, as soon as he began playing his music, my mind would empty of all the "need to do" thoughts, and I became instantly filled with peace.  Turmoil transformed into contentment.  When the song was over, the peace remained, and I continued my work with the thought-feeling that all is well, that problems will find solutions.  Anything that has the power to slow my hurry-scurry pace is nothing short of miraculous.  Chris is an agnostic, but I think his music is straight from heaven.  His music is his spiritual connection, I'm sure of it.

Before Chris moved away from home when he turned 21, he recorded his songs onto a CD for me.  I made a few copies of the CD to share with selected friends, other parents of children with mental disabilities.

Families who are raising children with special needs have been pleased with the effects this music has on the children.  If they are agitated or hyper and can't settle down, they listen to the music and almost instantly are calm and relaxed.  Sometimes the children even ask to listen to the music when they are feeling out of control - they know it will bring them peace again.
