HOMESCHOOLERS WIN NASA CONTEST. A group of Ohio homeschoolers took first place in a nationwide competition sponsored by NASA. The group of four boys entered the Design A Mission To Mars section of the NASA Student Involvement Program, which involved three months of research and design work. The team beat out more than 1,000 entries submitted by some 4,000 students to earn a place at NASA Space Camp.

Congratulations! It's good to see homeschoolers "take off"!

HOMESCHOOLER WINS NATIONAL MERIT SCHOLARSHIP. A Texas homeschooler is one of several Dallas-area students to receive a corporate-sponsored National Merit Scholarship. Senior Virginia M. Lane is actively involved in homeschooling and community activities.

Ummm...congratulations. Again!

HOMESCHOOLERS WIN NM HUMANITIES COMPETITION. Two homeschoolers are going to the National History Day contest after taking first place in the New Mexico state finals of the competition. Contestants were judged on their historical research, their analysis of information and presentation.

Is there an echo here?
